Premium Plus
This is our signature package. It takes you from the developmental editing stage all the way through proofreading. We dive deep into your novel, leaving no stone unturned, and deliver all the files to you ready for publication.
Premium
Not looking for a full developmental edit? This package contains some of the elements Premium Plus does, but starts the process at a manuscript critique. This is perfect for an author who has been through self-edits and is looking for some guidance on the story before editing, formatting, and publishing.
Basic Plus
This package is for anyone who has already had several rounds of self-edits, developmental editing, and alpha reading, but you need work at the page level and you're looking for assistance with formatting for publishing.
Basic
This package is for those who are looking to get their manuscript to the finish line for publishing. Your manuscript is in solid shape, but you need a team to provide the finishing touches before publication.
Developmental Edit
You've finished your first draft, you've self-edited, and now you need someone to go over the six "big picture" elements of your story.
Manuscript Critique
You've finished your first draft, but you're stuck and you can't figure out what it is. You aren't necessarily ready for a developmental edit, but you know that you need something.
Line Edit
You've been through several drafts, and now you are ready for someone to check your prose and edit your manuscript, word-by-word, line-by-line.
Copyedit
Your manuscript has been through "big-picture" editing and several revisions, but you need to have a set of eyes look it over before formatting.
Our rates are competitive with those of other editors. We understand the value of an investment, and we offer a variety of payment plans. We offer a free sample edit of 1,000 words on manuscripts over 30,000 words for new clients. A non-refundable payment of $50 is required before a sample edit can be done on any stories less than 30,000 words.

Additional Information
I use the Chicago Manual of Style, 18th edition and Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 11th edition (online) to suggest edits.
I accept manuscripts through Microsoft Word. I'll use Track Changes and use the comments feature to suggest edits. I will accept documents sent to me from Google Docs, but all manuscripts will be downloaded and edited using Microsoft Word. They can be reopened in Google Docs to accept and reject revisions.
Sample edits are done on the weekend as my calendar permits. If I need additional time, I discuss that with the author before starting.
I use Honeybook to assist in client management, including statements of work, invoicing, and payments. You will be able to pay directly from your bank account through the secure features. No app download required.
A deposit is required to hold dates on my calendar for all services. All deposits go toward the total balance. Payment plans are accepted.
Full payment must be made before the manuscript is sent back.
In addition to the services provided, you can also bounce your ideas off me, and I am your personal cheerleader. I will always give you my honest, professional assessment, but ultimately, the work is yours, and you are in control. You approve all changes and suggestions. It is my job to work with you.
